Meet Rules

Firstly can we say that the club does not want to be domineering or dogmatic, having said that, why do we need rules then, rules and regulation have the same purpose which is they try to protect the lives of individual’s and bring good relationship’s, the following rules are to guide members by showing a person what is right to do, where, when and to what extent.

  • Club meets are open to Camping and Caravanning Club members only, it is however possible for non-members to stay or join on site if there is an internet connection available.
  • All club meets will have at least one duty steward who is responsible for members behaviour and safety. 
  • All units and visitors must report to the duty stewards on arrival.
  • Duty stewards will site all units to accommodate the size of meet, venue and disable parking.
  • Units are to be sited six metres from their nearest neighbour.
  • Units are not permitted to stay overnight without being occupied.
  • Stewards will  identify the location of ;                                                                                                            1. The Fresh/Drinking water tap.                                                                                                 2. The Grey waste water disposal point.                                                                                     3. The Toilet cassettes elsan disposal point.                                                                  Do not take any part of your cassette toilet near the fresh water tap.
  • General waste should be taken home unless waste disposal is available on site. 
  • All vehicles are restricted to 5mph on site. L drivers are not permitted.
  • Dogs are welcome at meets but must be exercised off-site and be on a lead no longer than two metres whilst outside their owners unit.
  • The use of generators is allowed but should be kept to a minimum and not used for  prolonged period’s and never after 9.30 pm or before 8.00am.
  • Should the duty steward believe a member their children or pet’s behaviour is causing a nuisance the steward is permitted to ask the member to cease the behaviour or leave the site.
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult in the social halls at all times, pets are not permitted in halls or toilet areas.
